DIY:Creating my Dream Classroom_Teacher Aurelija MC->Restorer

Hello everyone for the first time!!!
Below is a brief story about the start of a difficult but very pleasant job.
[June, 2014]

As I remember now, on the day I got my practice and finished my studies, I got my first office. I remember, then, we even took the letters (keys) with another teacher, which of us who the class would go to. Unfortunately, the condition of both offices was nothing. In other words, a completely empty class, which needed a lot of repairs.
(In the photos below a few pictures, some old furniture has already been taken to the classroom).

Since the school could not help with the repair, and the list of the future class was not clear yet, I turned to my beloved men for help (best wishes to my husband and Dad 💗 ).
We all worked diligently to repair the class: I renovated old benches, chairs and cabinets. Dad took care of the decoration and painting of the walls and some other repair work. When he did not go to work, my husband also painted and updated various surfaces in the classroom.

On the basis of various scientific literature on the influence of colors on a person, I chose the following colors:
1) I chose a dominant color bright green (lime), so it brushed all the walls of the class. The green color gives the students fervent and helps focus, self-confidence, and inspire new ideas. Maybe because of this reason, first year of school, the children did not want to leave the class even at intervals. They said that they had a very good feeling here.
2) Pupils' chairs, cabinets and blackboard have been painted with a gently yellow color, which gives a sense of happiness, energy, balance and joy. J.W. von Goethe argued that the yellow color would turn the idler into a hard worker.
3)
Student's tables are painted in pink color. I did it, because pink is a soothing color, it hides aggression.

 In the last 3 weeks of continuous work, most of the hardest work has come to an end.

Perhaps someone is interested in the financial aspect of this class change. At that time, my husband and I did not have the money for repairing the class. So most of  money I needed was donated by my dad. Below is a short checkout:
Paint and dyeing accessories: ~ 180
Other repairs: ~ 50

Decor elements: ~ 20
Total: ~ 250

So, step-by-step we have created an attractive and functional space for education. The feeling I experienced when the repair was over was like "OMG! Here is my Dream ClassroOoom!"
